By bobbioIf Earl can drop an album I can definitely drop this Bifo File. Big bonus for the wait is that it comes with a 1ac and the outline for a few 2ac blocks to get you started. The affirmative is a critique of European immigration policy and the reactionary responses to migration. The 1ac is constructed entirely with Bifo cards but if you'd like to be more than tangentially related to the topic (since the whole point of the affirmative is to just impact turn whatever the negative says with you big capitalism theory) cutting some cards about the caravan and that whole Hillary Clinton said that Europe should stop migrants to stop white supremacists thing would be a few ways of connecting to ~the topic~.
The rest of the file is just a pretty standard Kritik file. If you're faimilar with my cap K file the whole section of assotred 2nc offense will be pretty faimilar. This strategy of file design is valuable in my opinion because it allows 2n's to think about the debate more whollistcally and generate offense independent from the traditional critique struture. All of the link, impact and alternative's can be written in ways that make them operate like different theoretically based critiques. The biggest advantage of such a dynamic file is that you could read Bifo like it is Deleuze one round and like it's traditional Marxism the next round all with diverse spins and very persuasive link arguments contextualized in unique theories. . I would highly suggest and recommend that you read at least some Bifo before reading this on either side. An in depth base of knowledge is necessary for the execution of such a complex argument and that can only be gained from reading. All of the books are pretty good but if you are short on time or skeptical in your ability to read dense theory, start with futurability (bifo 2017) or the classic after the future (2011). Heroes , mass murder and suicide (bifo 2015) is also very good and probably one of the simplest books conceptually. AND phenemonlgy of the end (bifo 16/15)is probably the most complicated but definitely the most interesting read.

I guarantee you this is the best anthro core file you can find. It is a 215 page starter pack that contains every thing you would need for this argument- with links including Baudrillard, Hardt and Negri, Climate change, Disease, war impacts, growth, trade/food insecurity, I-law, public health, immigration specific arguments and much more. This file is not your typical one card link and one alt section- it usually goes 2-6 cards deep on any given area of debate to get deeper and more specific debating on a literature base many are unfamiliar with. For example, the link section to anti-cap affs has 9 cards (!!) and the links to Reform/law good has 8. These cards are not your usual anthro 3 sentence out of context link cards, they are specific and really long because I'm a hack for this K so the 18 page Derrida alt is just proof of the depth and versatility of this scholarship.
It also includes Perm blocks, blocks to common arguments (ie. AT: Asteroids, AT: collapsing divide bad, AT: human focus good, AT: Reform/law good, AT: Anthro inev etc etc) and decked out blocks to specific cards that people read against this K (they all read the same 2AC cards!) and 4 separate alts with perm blocks specific to the types of affs you would read this against.
Note: This argument is not intended to read against affs about identity in a shallow, reductive and racist way. Anthro has a long history of being weaponized against debaters who discuss identity to avoid engaging in real discussions. That’s messed up and erases all of what this argument/way of thought can and should be. These cards are meant to be read largely against policy affs, which is why the only K links are to nonsense high theory stuff. If I find people doing this with this file I will take it down and yell at you.

By bobbioHey Y'all, back again with another awesome file - the afropessimism Kritik. This is one of my favorite arguments (behind the cap K obviously) and is one i have done a lot of research and debating on. This file is oriented towards defeating and engaging with critical affirmatives with a theory that negates the entire world. This broadness makes it widely applicable in many debates especially across a broad range of affirmatives with no real orientation towards the topic. At this point, this critique if fairly well known (despite many misconceptions which reading a couple cards in this file will teach you) and will be familiar for a lot of judges you may have giving you a strategic advantage over many critiques.
One thing this file contains that the Capitalism Critique does not is a heavier emphasis on blocks instead of evidence. Of course there is a diverse selection of high quality pieces of evidence across all portions of the debate, but the quality of link walls and overviews is unmatched. These overviews and blocks are the culmination of years’ worth of scholarly research upon which I even published. There are also answers prepared to assorted cards people might read against you in an average 2ac. Even if these exact same cards aren’t read the strategies for answering arguments can be studied and replicated. With some tinkering for time and efficiency to match your individual speed, these blocks will provide an effective foundation for any debater looking to develop a deep understanding in the theory and an important skill for executing such a powerful critique.

By bobbioThe ultimate Cap K file is here. This is not your coach's cap back file. This file contains over 500 pages of specific link arguments with full modules for every critical argument you could think of, as well as 50 pages of links for the high school immigration topic. From Baudrillard and Preciado to Anti-blackness and Settler Colonialism, this file contains substantial 1nc and 2nc cards that can help you win any debate. A whole section is dedicated to special 2nc tricks that you can use to proliferate offense in the block. This file is perfect for a 2n looking to develop their skills and add a core critical argument to their arsenal. Since there are many diverse alternative and impact arguments you can be flexible with what your critique looks like, allowing your argument to change for any specific round and the course of the year. At just under 2mb this file is packed to the brim with amazing evidence and blocks for any level of experience cap debater.
As a bonus there is an extra module of Virno cards that explore the kritik of capital from an Italian Marxist perspective. Definitely some fun stuff in there that could mix up how you debate an alternative/framework.

By ColinDThis ‘critique’ is really just an impact turn to warming/natural disaster scenarios. The basic argument can be laid out like this:
- Green capitalism is used to overshadow our inherent disconnection from nature
- Environmental catastrophe is a management strategy that uses potential crises to reassert elite control
- Capitalist growth spurs environmental catastrophe in the first place
- Environmental catastrophe spurs community collaboration contrary to capitalist ethics
The one card shell includes all of those arguments and makes an implicit epistemology argument that the aff’s scenarios are a never ending form of apocalyptic rhetoric with no end point or solution. The defensive argument you would want on the advantage is warming doesn’t case extinction, but make sure you selectively choose defense that doesn’t dispute climate science, just the terminal scenarios, otherwise you take out the link to natural disasters.
It’s a small file, but this K can be standalone, supplement a cap k, jives well with dedev, and can be expanded with a larger environmental security k.

By ColinDThis K is pretty straightforward. It’s basically the “Alt Cause K.” The aff says they can fix things with one action. Well, believe it or not, things aren’t that simple. There’s a massive number of influences for any particular scenario. You should most definitely try to pull examples from the aff’s cards about other influences on scenarios they describe, especially their impact cards since those are typically generic and not specific to their internal links, and these examples should inform and define your link debate. This is pretty up front that you’re a Floating PIK and that’s an ideal 2nr argument to keep alive.
There is a module against critical affs as well. This is most useful against positivity affs that build themselves on “prior question to systemic reform” arguments.
Please reach out with any questions.

By bobbioThe Destitution K is an anarchist critique of power primarily authored by the Invisible Committee. Their argument is that the foundation of contemporary power has become fluid - control is dissipated through psychological and affective investments that sustain an insidious form of governance. The capacity to manage and orient the desires of bodies constitutes a particularly violent form of biopolitics which manifests itself in the global war on terror and militant strategies of policing domestically and abroad (Drone Strikes are one quintessential example of the core impact claim). Ultimately, The Invisible Committee argues that we need to destitute the foundation of power through insurrection. Insurrection is the anarchist form of political (dis)engagement which refuses not just the ethicality of the state but its impetus for control, while gesturing toward alternative social formations that exceed the totalizing ruse of power.
The file contains a wide set of 2nc responses, both carded and analytic, to most arguments people will produce against this critique. Since the invisible committe occupy such a small academic niche the amount of thought out answers and carded responsive evidence are very low, providing you with an element of surprise that's backed up by rhetorically powerful evidence and a smart argument about current operations of power.
