I was just wondering if the community could recommend effective presentation and speech drills particularly for articulation and speed. I would note though that for speed I am looking for drills to help me slow down. From a young age, I have had the habit of speaking rather quickly, and during the debate, I have the tendency to either stammer or trip over my words. Also, my local league, places a heavy emphasis on articulation and a conversational approach rather than quick speech. I read some drills such as practicing with a pencil in your mouth, but I just want to gauge the community's ideas on their most helpful/favorite drills particularly for articulation and speed. Thank you all for your time, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
Not necessarily debate related, but I just found this chrome extension, Tab for a Cause, which essentially lets you donate money to a charity every time you open a tab in chrome.
On a technical level, it does change your "new tab" default page, because it displays an ad in the bottom right corner which is where how the money is raised. From there, for every tab you open, you gain "hearts" which are used to vote collectively across all users how much money goes to what charities.
I think it's pretty cool, especially based on how many tabs I open that are debate related, I know those tabs are actually helping organizations do good things.
